Automatic Assignment of Rights in Clarity
Rights can be manually assigned in Clarity Standard. However, it can be laborious and time-consuming if you are managing many projects and investments. For some use cases, therefore, a scalable, more efficient solution makes more sense.
Let us work with you to define the required rules for automated rights assignment in your Clarity system. This is how we define which rights are assigned to the various roles in Clarity and what the relevant conditions are. Depending on which parameters are specified, rights are then granted and revoked automatically on the basis of these definitions. Properly authorized users (e. g. PMO) can then adapt and extend the defined rights at any time.
Here’s an example: The project manager goes on vacation and assigns a deputy to take over while he or she is away. The deputy is automatically granted the appropriate rights for this period of time. These rights are automatically revoked again when the vacation is over. Authorizing project roles on the basis of the project phase, for example, would be another use case. This can be implemented in the same manner for applications, services, custom investments, and any objects.
